Requirements
• Ability and/or willingness to use our product https://accounts.cloud.camunda.io/signup?_ga=2.47330343.127558761.1654184528-504024057.1654184528. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. • 5+ years of experience in a Solution Architect or similar technical presales role with experience in sales and explaining product benefits to customers. Must be adept at handling sales objections and achieving the technical win. • Strong Java programming skills and deep understanding of how software, cloud services, and enterprise systems work. • A proven aptitude for critical thinking, innovative problem-solving, and tailoring software solutions to meet unique customer challenges and requirements. • Fluent in spoken and written English (native or C1/C2 proficiency). You can convey complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner to a diverse audience, including those without a technical background. • Experience in developing strategic roadmaps and collaborating with cross functional teams. • Experience in enterprise automation, business process management, process orchestration, robotic process automation, or related fields. • Understanding of the process automation and orchestration product landscapes. • Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance Industries • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are an asset. • Comfort with Docker and Kubernetes • This role is an existing vacancy • #LI-AL1 #LI-Remote • What We Have to Offer:
Responsibilities
• Technical Presales Leadership • Lead POC engagements end-to-end: scoping, building, and presenting to both technical teams and exec sponsors • Run deep technical discovery and deliver tailored demos from hands-on architecture walkthroughs to C-suite value narratives • Troubleshoot and unblock self-managed deployment issues that arise during technical evaluations • Solution Architecture & Advisory • Design end-to-end solution architectures integrating Camunda into complex cloud and hybrid enterprise environments • Lead architecture workshops, performance and security discussions, and build out phased adoption roadmaps • Get hands-on with code snippets, prototypes, and custom demos to bring proposed architectures to life • Cross-functional Collaboration • Contribute to RFI/RFP responses with technically rigorous, commercially sharp content • Feed prospect insights back to Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap • Build and maintain reusable presales assets — demo environments, reference architectures, technical collateral — that lift the whole team • Engage with partner/SI ecosystems and contribute to Camunda's external reputation through content and community presence

Salary ranges are location-based, with Standard and Major markets (global tech hubs) reflecting local competition. • The Annual Total Target Cash (base salary + 100% variable target, where applicable) shown below spans from the minimum in a Standard market to the maximum in a Major market.
