Requirements

• German fluency (written and spoken) — you can craft culturally sharp, nuanced German copy, not just translate it • 5+ years of hands-on social content production, with a strong background creating content that performs on TikTok, Instagram, and short-form video platforms • Demonstrated experience filming and editing short-form video content, with proficiency in mobile-first editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar) • Outstanding writing and editorial skills in German and English — you craft clear, engaging, platform-native copy with ease • A strong portfolio of social content with measurable engagement growth, ideally for a consumer-facing brand or digital product • Deep knowledge of the German digital landscape — the platforms, the creators, the cultural moments, and the audiences that matter • Passion for Mozilla's mission: a belief in an internet that prioritizes choice, control, and privacy • Experience in other European markets and languages • Familiarity with social analytics tools and a data-informed approach to content optimization • Experience at a tech company or in the digital privacy/security space • Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion

Responsibilities

• Content Production • Ideate, script, film, and edit high-performing short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Threads, spanning both trending moments and evergreen editorial priorities • Translate and adapt global content for the German market, identifying which formats, tones, and moments land locally • Spot cultural trends and surface timely opportunities to the team, helping Firefox show up in the right conversations at the right time • Own real-time community management across @firefox_de channels, monitoring conversations, responding to users, and identifying moments worth engaging with • Feed audience insights back to the broader content team to inform ongoing work • Creator & UGC Partnerships • Review, provide feedback on, and help edit German-language creator and UGC content • Build and champion relationships with German content creators, identifying the right voices to authentically tell the Firefox story
