Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Political Science or any related program: Required qualification/education. • Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail: Must-have skill set. • A willingness to learn and an ability to adapt to constantly evolving demands: Essential personal attribute for the role. • Excellent written and oral communication skills: Required qualification/skill.

Responsibilities

• Work during European market hours to support trading activities and strategy development for real-time events. • Collaborate with a small team of analysts in Montreal to provide insight into new opportunities based on extensive research and available resources. • Analyze seemingly unrelated global events using geopolitical knowledge, distill market sentiment from these insights, and develop trading strategies for the European session that allow monetization of such events. • Continuously refine existing practices with fresh ideas to improve processes and seek out new opportunities within real-time strategy development at DRW Montreal office.
