Requirements
• Some experience with React and TypeScript (university, internships, or personal projects welcome) • Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern UI development libraries such as TailwindCSS, React Router and React Query • Understanding of APIs and JSON data handling • Interest in automated testing (Cypress, Jest or similar) • Clear communication and willingness to learn from feedback • Enthusiasm for writing clean, easy-to-understand code • Exposure to Node.js or cloud services (AWS) • Familiarity with video integrations, 3D object rendering or real-time applications • An interest in sports, data visualisation, or real-time systems
Responsibilities
• Building and maintaining user interfaces using React and TypeScript • Helping turn complex sports data into clear, usable experiences • Working alongside backend, design, and data colleagues to deliver features • Writing clean, maintainable code with guidance from senior engineers • Testing and debugging across browsers and devices • Developing your skills in performance, architecture, and release workflows • Receiving mentorship and feedback to grow your frontend expertise • Writing functional, maintainable code in line with team standards • Using Jira for task tracking and Git for version control • Taking part in code reviews and learning from peers
