Requirements
• Direct experience in crypto-native companies (e.g., Coinbase, Circle) where you helped build a strong brand and media footprint. • Prior work closely tied to regulatory or policy communications, especially in Washington DC or other major regulatory hubs. • Experience building or significantly scaling a comms function, including hiring and managing internal teams and agencies. • Background in payments, fintech, or TradFi with strong connectivity into finance reporters and publications that cover both finance and crypto beats. • Important Notice for Paxos Applicants • We’ve become aware of fraudulent accounts posting as Paxos recruiters on LinkedIn and other platforms. Responsibilities
• Define and execute a long-term, global communications strategy that integrates executive, corporate, policy, internal, and product narratives into a coherent story for Paxos. • Lead media and press relations, including proactive storytelling and responsive reputation management, to return Paxos to a strong presence in key financial and crypto outlets. • Own company-wide internal and executive communications in partnership with existing internal comms and marketing, especially around high-stakes, regulated topics and major company milestones. • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the CEO & the executive team, shaping narratives, recommendations, and decision-ready options on communications strategy and execution. • Use AI tools and systems to increase leverage in content development, research, and measurement • Direct and coordinate external agencies, advisors, and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality, on-message communications across regions and time zones.
