$120,000 - $200,000 a year
Compensation for this role is comprised of an annual base salary and a variable component, ranging between $120,000 - $200,000 OTE. You may also be offered incentive compensation, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, location and experience. Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with key accounts to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
Develop strategies for account growth through targeted marketing efforts within the company's portfolio of products/services.
Collaborate closely with sales representatives, providing them with insights into client needs and preferences based on interactions or feedback received from clients.
Monitor competitive activities in key accounts to identify opportunities for differentiation and value addition by our offerings.
Attend regular account meetings and participate actively in discussions regarding the status of sales, marketing initiatives, product development needs, etc. with both internal team members (sales/marketing) as well as external clients to ensure alignment on goals and strategies for growth.
Prepare detailed reports that track account performance metrics such as revenue generated from each client over time; analyze these data points in conjunction with industry benchmarking information provided by our research department when necessary so we can make informed decisions about resource allocation across various accounts based upon their profitability potentials/histories.
Manage a team of sales representatives assigned to specific clients, providing guidance and support as needed while ensuring that they adhere strictly to company policies regarding ethical conduct towards customers during interactions at all levels (e.g., face-to-face meetings).
Represent the organization in various industry events such as trade shows or conferences where potential new business opportunities may arise; network with other professionals within our target markets while simultaneously promoting company interests through informal conversations about shared experiences related directly back into relevant areas of expertise (e.g., product knowledge).
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and developments that could impact client needs/preferences; stay informed by attending webinars hosted internally or externally conducted regularly throughout the year which focus specifically upon topics related directly back into relevant areas within our target markets (e.g., emerging technologies).
Develop relationships with key industry influencers who can provide valuable insights regarding current market conditions/trends; engage these individuals through direct communication channels such as phone calls or emails when appropriate while also leveraging social media platforms like LinkedIn for broader networking purposes within relevant circles.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of various outreach strategies employed by our organization across different accounts using quantitative metrics (e.g., number/percentage increase in sales volume) alongside qualitative feedback received directly from clients themselves via surveys conducted periodically throughout each fiscal quarter; adjust tactics accordingly based upon findings so we may optimize results going forward while simultaneously identifying areas where additional training might be required among team members assigned specifically towards improving performance outcomes across various accounts.
