Requirements

• Knowledge of RWD study design and execution, particularly causal inference • Experience with data analysis, specifically from observational study designs • Experience with epidemiological, registry, EMR, clinical trials, and other clinical data • Experience using R, Python, SQL or similar and a highly technical acumen • Experience summarizing data and disseminating insights to multi-disciplinary audiences • Experience with managing timelines, and relationships with key stakeholders • Confident in presenting the N-Power brand in scientific conferences and other professional forums. • Understanding of drug development, regulatory requirements and processes • You are a doer, self motivated, and driven • Comfortable within a growth stage environment • Effective scientific communication; written and verbal • Strong publication history, and teaching/mentoring experience is preferred • Generous, Curious, and Humble • Ability to travel may be required from time to time. • Pay Information • The expected salary range for this position is $165,000 and $248,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. N-Power Medicine (NPM) offers equity at hire as well as a discretionary annual bonus which may be available based on Company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the epidemiology department's research activities to ensure alignment with organizational goals. • Develop and implement strategic plans for conducting population health studies relevant to our organization’s focus areas. • Oversee data collection, management, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination processes within the scope of public health epidemiology projects. • Collaborate closely with other departments (such as research, clinical trials, or community outreach) to integrate findings into broader organizational initiatives. • Maintain compliance with all relevant ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements in the conduct of epidemiological studies. • Provide leadership by mentoring junior staff members within the department on best practices, research methodologies, data analysis techniques, and professional development opportunities. • Represent our organization at scientific conferences, symposia, or workshops to disseminate findings from current projects and stay abreast of emerging trends in epidemiology. • Engage with external stakeholders (such as funding agencies, policy makers, community partners) through regular communication channels such as meetings, reports, or presentations to ensure alignment on project goals and outcomes. • Monitor the progress of current projects against established timelines and milestones; provide updates regularly to senior management and other relevant stakeholders. • Evaluate research proposals for their scientific merit, feasibility, ethical considerations, potential impact, and alignment with organizational goals before recommending them for funding or approval. • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of current literature in the field to inform project design, interpretation of findings, and dissemination strategies; stay informed about emerging trends through regular review of scientific publications and attendance at relevant conferences/workshops. • Develop partnerships with academic institutions or other research organizations for collaborative projects that leverage shared expertise and resources to advance our organization’s mission in public health epidemiology.
