Requirements
• Systems-level thinker who understands platform leverage and architectural tradeoffs • Experience using or building observability products, either internally as an SRE or for external customers • Experience with open source software and/or commercial open source companies • Experience using or building agents, telemetry collectors, or related tools and services • Experience with OpenTelemetery protocols, receivers, and exporters
Responsibilities
• Transform ideas and feedback into a product vision and roadmap • Empathize with customer problems in order to collect user needs, requirements, and pain points • Curate and properly represent user feedback to Engineering, while providing evidence to support tradeoffs and priorities • Work closely with PMM to enable GTM on product differentiation, including creating and updating presentations, documentation, website content, datasheets, and whitepapers. • Use your deep product expertise to make decisions about our go-to-market strategies, pricing, packaging, licensing and tiering • What makes you a great fit: • A BS/BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience • 3+ years of experience in Product Management • 3+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS product • Experience using or building developer-facing tools, APIs, or platform services • Ability to discuss APIs, data models, schema evolution, and distributed systems concepts • Experience driving adoption of shared services or platform capabilities across multiple product teams • Experience working with Engineering and Design teams build delightful products and features – with sounds UX – in a fast-paced environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
