OneStream - Software Engineer I
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. • 2–4 years of professional software development experience. • Experience with object-oriented programming and the Microsoft technology stack, including C#, .NET, and ASP.NET. • Basic experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, Blazor, and WPF. • Familiarity with data formats and markup languages such as JSON and XML. • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL fundamentals. • Experience using source control systems (Git) and participating in CI/CD workflows. • Ability to write and review unit tests to validate functionality. • Experience building enterprise or platform-oriented applications. • Familiarity with cloud‑hosted or SaaS‑based systems. • Introductory experience with automated testing practices. • Azure Fundamentals or entry-level Azure certification. • Familiarity with Cursor, Claude Code, etc. • Solid understanding of software development fundamentals and object-oriented design. • Ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. • Effective written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. • Attention to detail and commitment to code quality.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software components within OneStream solutions. • Implement features using established design patterns and best practices under guidance from senior engineers. • Contribute to UI development using modern UI frameworks including Angular, React, and Blazor. • Develop and integrate APIs and services following RESTful standards and practices. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with appropriate unit test coverage. • Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development, refactoring, test creation, and documentation, while validating AI-generated output for correctness, security, and architectural alignment. • Participate in peer code reviews to improve code quality and consistency. • Assist in diagnosing, debugging, and resolving software defects across development and test environments. • Collaborate with Product, QA, and other engineering team members to deliver features that meet functional and quality expectations. • Follow established SDLC, security, and compliance protocols • TRAVEL • Travel Requirement: Regular travel is not expected for this position • #LI-Remote #LI-KA1 • Total compensation is based on experience, skills, and location using objective, job-related criteria. Additional variable compensation and benefits may apply.
