Requirements
• Is a native Mandarin speaker (Cantonese is a plus), culturally fluent in the Greater China region and experience leading complex deals within Fortune 500 logos headquartered in the region • Has 8+ years of enterprise SaaS or data sales, ideally in tech, data, commodities, energy, ESG, or environmental compliance • Has a proven track record closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals (>$150K ARR) as a consistent top performer • Has experience operating in Greater China with an established network in energy, finance, technology or industrial sectors. • Brings high outbound discipline — comfortable with cold outreach to senior executives and building relationships from scratch • Is a structured, value-based seller able to navigate complex organisations and build strong internal champions • Is a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, ideally with early-stage or startup experience • Cares deeply about the climate and the ecosystems of the earth • Preferably has: • Background in carbon markets, sustainability, ESG, or ratings • Sell-side trading or commodity experience • Existing relationships at energy companies, banks, or industrial conglomerates in Greater China • We’d like someone highly ambitious, motivated and eager to propel their career forward. Responsibilities
• Own revenue targets across assigned territories, with full accountability for new business and expansion on Enterprise accounts • Build and execute outbound strategies targeting sectors such as technology, industrial, finance and public services. Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to close across complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals • Develop senior-level relationships and strategic account plans for key prospects • Identify and establish strategic partnerships to extend Sylvera's regional presence • Act as a technical expert and trusted point of reference on carbon markets and Sylvera's products • Travel regularly across the region to meet customers and attend industry events
