Responsibilities

• We are seeking a visionary Associate Technical Director to lead the development and implementation of innovative technical solutions across our diverse portfolio of projects. You'll architect cloud-native solutions on Azure and work AI-native yourself, using tools like Claude Code and Cursor in your own daily work and setting the standard for how our delivery teams do the same. In this role, you will be instrumental in defining architectural visions, collaborating with clients to clarify project requirements, advocating for the value of robust architecture, and fostering collaboration to achieve optimal project outcomes. • Here’s how you’ll do it: • Architect Solutions: Define elegant, cloud-native system architecture on Azure that meets complex project requirements, then drive clarity, alignment, and execution of these architectures. • Architect Solutions: • Deliver Results: Provide end-to-end technical leadership and supervision for projects, navigating scope, risks, and 3rd parties to ensure successful delivery within budget and timeline; also lead the delivery of technically-focused initial engagements such as code audits and POC phases. • Deliver Results: • Oversee Delivery: Provide oversight and direction for a portfolio of client engagements. • Oversee Delivery: • Build AI-Native: Use AI coding tools hands-on in your own work, and help delivery teams get reliable, production-quality results from them on real client codebases. • Build AI-Native: • We’d Love to Hear From You If • You have 5+ years of experience in solution architecture and technical design, including cloud-native development and architecture on Microsoft Azure. You bring deep knowledge of system design, API development, infrastructure management, and architectural best practices. • You have 5+ years of experience in solution architecture and technical design, • You build with AI every day. You're a hands-on practitioner with AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot. You know how to structure context, instructions, and tooling (sometimes called context engineering) so these tools produce reliable results on real codebases, and you can show others how to do the same. • You build with AI every day. • You have 8+ years of leadership experience in technical teams. You define, inspire, and drive the execution of architectural visions across multiple projects. • You have 8+ years of leadership experience in technical teams. • You've built on Microsoft Fabric. You have hands-on experience designing and delivering production solutions on Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, lakehouse and warehouse design, Data Factory pipelines, and Power BI semantic models. You can guide clients through moving from legacy Azure data services or on-prem BI into Fabric, and you understand capacity planning, governance, and security in a Fabric environment. • You've built on Microsoft Fabric. • You are a force multiplier.
