Requirements
• 5+ years of Product Management experience. • Experience working in startup, scale-up, or high-growth environments. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. • Experience working closely with software engineering teams. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Experience driving product initiatives from concept to launch. • Ability to operate effectively in environments with limited processes or structure. • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal). • Experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams. • Proven experience building or improving product processes. • Experience gathering requirements and translating them into actionable product work. • Strong product discovery and roadmap planning skills. • Experience working directly with customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams. • Experience using analytics and customer behavior data to drive decisions. • Experience implementing or working with: • Product analytics tools • User behavior tracking tools • Feature adoption analysis • Strong ability to influence without direct authority. • Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous environments. • Meaningful and sophisticated use of AI tools to improve productivity, workflows, research, documentation, or decision-making. • Nonprofit technology • Ticketing platforms • Experience working after acquisitions or organizational transformations. • Experience leading product initiatives with globally distributed teams. • Familiarity with experimentation and A/B testing methodologies. • Technical background or experience collaborating closely with software engineers. • Experience working with AI-enabled products or AI-driven workflows. • Excellent communicator. • Comfortable with ambiguity and change. • Startup mentality. • High ownership and accountability. • Strong relationship builder. • Strategic thinker with attention to detail. • Empathetic and customer-focused. • Able to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. • Comfortable balancing short-term execution with long-term vision. • \nIf you enjoy thinking like a business owner, care deeply about great UX, and know how to turn Shopify into a growth engine, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
• Define and drive product initiatives from discovery through delivery. • Establish and improve product management processes where structure does not yet exist. • Collaborate closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and customers to understand needs and prioritize solutions. • Translate customer feedback, business objectives, and technical constraints into actionable product requirements. • Drive product discovery, validation, and roadmap planning. • Monitor feature adoption, user behavior, and product performance after launch. • Use analytics, customer insights, and experimentation to guide product decisions. • Facilitate communication between engineering teams, leadership, and external stakeholders. • Create alignment across teams and help drive execution toward shared goals. • Leverage modern AI tools to improve productivity, research, documentation, analysis, and product workflows.
