Intersect - Gas Equipment Procurement
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in gas generation equipment procurement for utility-scale energy projects. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain external relationships. • Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts. • Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities. • Engineering background preferred. • Proficiency in G-Suite, Excel, Slack, and other collaboration tools.
Responsibilities
• Structure, negotiate, and execute gas generation equipment contracts for energy projects and data centers, ensuring alignment with industry standards, timelines, and financial objectives. • Lead and manage equipment supply request for proposal (RFP) processes. • Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, and key vendors to ensure successful project delivery. • Manage contract amendments and post-contract activities, including claims, performance monitoring, and warranty considerations. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Development, Engineering, Construction, Project Finance, and Legal teams to ensure seamless contract execution. • Focus primarily on equipment supply agreements, with additional involvement in EPC contract execution.
