This position requires exceptional leadership, a safety-first focus, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong coordination with stakeholders across operations, software, and hardware.Schedule & Location: This role operates on a dedicated Monday through Friday night shift (4:00 PM to 12:30 AM). Please note that this position requires a mandatory 4 days per week in-office, working between the Palmer, TX terminal and the Aurora Dallas office. • Schedule & Location: • 3+ years of experience in dispatch, fleet operations, or a related high-tempo scheduling environment. • 1-2+ years of leadership experience (e.g., Lead, Shift Lead, or Associate Manager) with a proven ability to motivate remote or distributed teams. • Exceptional critical thinking and the ability to make command decisions and take initiative. • Strong judgment and the ability to make "command decisions" when field teams face immediate blockers. • Conflict management and resolution experience. • Flexibility for day, night, and/or weekend work, not always planned far in advance. • Ability to participate in on-call response and incident management • Experience specifically managing traveling, team members with Commercial Driver licensing, or remote technical workforces. • Experience managing in a commercial operations workforce. • Background in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or complex logistics. • Experience coordinating across multiple geographies and distinct stakeholder groups. • For roles based in Palmer, TX: The salary range for this position is $83,000 - $120,500 per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits. • Working at Aurora • Working at Aurora • At Aurora, we bring together extraordinarily talented and experienced people united by the strength of our values.
