Intersect - BESS Engineering Lead

• Lead technical design and optimization of standalone and colocated energy storage systems within the growing portfolio. • Partner closely with Development, Procurement, Finance, and Construction to deliver technically sound, cost-optimized solutions for various infrastructure projects including battery storage paired with PV, wind, data centers, green hydrogen, etc. • Own system sizing, electrical modeling, technology selection, and performance optimization tasks ensuring project compliance with offtake obligations, financing requirements, and long-term operational expectations. • Directly influence the levelized cost of energy (LCOE) or levelized cost of storage (LCOS), contract negotiations, and long-term asset performance across Intersect’s ambitious growth platform in infrastructure projects.
