Requirements
• Extensive experience designing and operating AWS Landing Zones. • Strong understanding of AWS security risks and mitigation strategies. • Opinionated approach to Infrastructure as Code (structure and modularisation). • Experience architecting complex, scalable AWS platforms. • Experience working in regulated or government environments. • Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
• Design and operate enterprise-scale AWS Landing Zones • Define infrastructure, networking, and security architectures • Provide technical governance for cloud workload delivery • Design controls to prevent, detect, and remediate AWS security risks • Lead cloud operating model and CCoE transformations • Define RACI models, governance frameworks, and operational standards • Ensure adherence to AWS Well-Architected Framework principles • Lead cost-optimisation strategies and promote cost-aware engineering • Oversee enterprise security strategies, risk management, and compliance • Set technical standards and implement compliance controls • Deliver solutions using AWS services including AWS Organizations, IAM, IAM Identity Center, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and Security Hub • Provide technical leadership across cross-functional delivery teams
