Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and operating AWS Landing Zones.
- Strong understanding of AWS security risks and mitigation strategies.
- Opinionated approach to Infrastructure as Code (structure and modularisation).
- Experience architecting complex, scalable AWS platforms.
- Experience working in regulated or government environments.
- Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and operate enterprise-scale AWS Landing Zones
- Define infrastructure, networking, and security architectures
- Provide technical governance for cloud workload delivery
- Design controls to prevent, detect, and remediate AWS security risks
- Lead cloud operating model and CCoE transformations
- Define RACI models, governance frameworks, and operational standards
- Ensure adherence to AWS Well-Architected Framework principles
- Lead cost-optimisation strategies and promote cost-aware engineering
- Oversee enterprise security strategies, risk management, and compliance
- Set technical standards and implement compliance controls
- Deliver solutions using AWS services including AWS Organizations, IAM, IAM Identity Center, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and Security Hub
- Provide technical leadership across cross-functional delivery teams
