Requirements
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills • Experience with the linux command line • Experience with database technologies • Knowledge of SQL • Familiarity with database related terminology • A desire to learn and improve • Strong team-player with a collaborative nature • Prior MariaDB, Percona or MySQL experience • Proficient in one or more scripting languages • Sysadmin experience • Certification on any RDBMS database system • Github or Gitlab contributions • Experience with virtualization software or containers • Experience with server monitoring software • Knowledge of database design • Knowledge of high availability environments and technologies • Location • Remote – Malaysia
Responsibilities
• As a MariaDB Associate Support Engineer you are vital to a customers’ success in this challenging, complex and ever-changing technology landscape. You’re expected to deliver technical support services to worldwide customers, across our entire portfolio of supported products. Support services range from software usage and best practices, to service restoration and performance tuning.
