Requirements
• Minimum 7 years of experience working with data • Expertise working with relational databases and writing SQL. Responsibilities
• Serve as a key voice of data at the label, evolving the way data is utilized to make strategic decisions at the highest levels within the Nashville + Provident labels. • Evaluate the performance of tracks, albums and artists by digging into detailed consumer data, social insights, charts, audience, and streaming data to inform executive level decision making for all label repertoire. • Respond to a large volume of ad-hoc analytics requests by leveraging a robust suite of internal & external data + analytics tools, generating insights across new releases, artist audiences, commercial strategies, competitive campaigns and more. • Lead the execution and presentation of recurring daily + weekly analyses, including release forecasting, consumption reports, industry trends, artist audience reports, and label-specific meetings. • Assist in transitioning existing reports and analyses to new internal platforms + technology partners, including finding ways to drive increased efficiencies with AI. • Serve as the primary data expert for the label, understanding data sources and systems to ensure data integrity and report accuracy, working with technology teams to resolve technical data issues and implement enhancements to data systems, and championing data education across the label.
