5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, AV Network Engineering, or a similar technical customer-facing role.
Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 wireless networking technologies
Layer 2/3 switching, VLANs, routing, QoS, and enterprise security practices
Cloud-managed networking (Netgear Insight or competitive solutions)
Zero Trust security concepts including identity-based access and micro-segmentation
Multicast networking (IGMP, PIM, QoS tuning)
Strong troubleshooting and solution development skills across both wireless and wired networks.
Experience using RF design tools (e.g., Ekahau, Hamina, etc).
Experience supporting or working with channel partners, MSPs, and mid-market enterprise customers.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills – able to influence and build trust with both technical and business audiences.
Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
A team player with a passion for customer success and product excellence.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Industry certifications such as CWNA, CCNA/CCNP, AVIXA CTS / CTS-D, Dante Certification or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
Partner with account teams to deliver pre-sales technical consultation, solution design, product demos, and proof-of-concepts tailored to enterprise needs.
Lead the architecture and deployment of enterprise-grade WiFi, switches, routers, security solutions, and cloud platforms for multi-site environments with capabilities such as zero-touch provisioning, real-time alerts, firmware lifecycle management, and network analytics.
Present technical content to diverse audiences including IT stakeholders, channel partners, internal teams, and NETGEAR’s Support organization.
Serve as a technical bridge between the customer and NETGEAR’s Support organization for post-sales transitions, managing escalations, ensuring consistent customer experience, gathering, analyzing, articulating feedback to Product Management, designing secure networking environments leveraging Zero Trust architecture.
Act as the voice of the customer by communicating technical feedback and feature requests related to AV over IP networks (Dante, AVB, NDI, AES67, SMPTE 2110) for product direction influence.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of competitive products, market trends, enterprise IT landscape evolutions relevant to the role's focus on networking solutions and customer needs.
