Requirements
• Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in Research & Development Project Management. • Experience with Clinical or Scientific Grants Management is required. • Must have expertise in the Federal programming field related to clinical research and development projects, which can be inferred from "Clinical or Scientific Grants Management" as a requirement for experience. • Master’s Degree or PhD in a relevant field (the specific fields are not stated but implied by “Master’s Degree”). • Equivalent of ten years' experience with a Bachelor’s degree is acceptable, which implies that the candidate should have at least 15 years of related work experience.
Responsibilities
• Understand the portfolio of resources and capabilities offered by team. • Build and maintain customer relationships leading to task orders competed on vehicle. • Serve as project leader for timely completion of project objectives. • Coordinate transition from Project Development to Implementation, then Completion. • Organize Team Resources including Steering Committees, Teams, Work Groups when needed. • Develop high-level plans and achieve buy in on task responsibilities and timelines with team members. • Define communications, issue management, scope management strategy achieving approval from the appropriate team members. • Solicit input to evaluate cross-system impacts. • Evaluate project risks and develop contingency plans as needed. • Define project objectives and success measurements. • Develop and communicate necessary documentation including overview, scope, structure, status reports etc., in a timely manner. • Coordinate development of requirements and design documentation ensuring approval is obtained for developed documents. • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies meeting deadlines when applicable. • Maintain integrity and security of institutional data. • Demonstrate ability to multi-task effectively.
