Requirements
• 8+ years of experience in technical recruiting, some of them in high-growth or startup environments • Proven track record hiring software engineers (especially backend) • Ability to assess technical profiles and ask meaningful, signal-driven questions • High ownership and autonomy - proactive • Strong communication skills (clear, concise, and honest) • What Success Looks Like • You consistently deliver high-quality hires, not just fast hires • Hiring managers trust your judgment and rely on your input • Recruiting processes become faster, clearer, and more structured • You proactively identify gaps and solve them before they become problems • Candidates walk away with a strong impression of Nexus
Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end recruiting for technical roles (backend, frontend, infrastructure, etc.) • Hands-on with sourcing and recruiting for backend roles • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, scorecards, and hiring strategies • Design and improve interview processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and strong signal • Develop and maintain a high-quality candidate pipeline • Track and analyze recruiting metrics to improve performance and decision-making • Mentor or guide other recruiters as the team grows
