Requirements

• We are looking for someone who is intellectually sharp, commercially savvy, and eager to take on real responsibility early. You likely bring: • A J.D. from a highly regarded law school. • 4-8 years of total legal experience, including: • 2+ years at a top-tier law firm (e.g., Am Law 20–30 or equivalent), ideally with exposure to high-stakes corporate or commercial work. • 2+ years of in-house experience at a fast-growing technology or global company, with direct ownership of complex agreements. • Demonstrated ability to negotiate confidently with senior legal and business stakeholders. • Strong judgment and political acumen—you understand how decisions land across finance, sales, product, and leadership. • Experience managing external counsel and navigating cross-border or multi-jurisdictional matters. • A bias toward action, ownership, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Commercial & Corporate Transactions • Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of a wide range of commercial and corporate agreements, including customer, vendor, partnership, and strategic transactions. • Serve as the primary legal partner to the CFO, ensuring contracts align with revenue recognition, billing, risk allocation, and operational realities. • Independently negotiate against sophisticated counterparties, including Fortune 500 companies and global luxury and consumer brands. • Strategic & Corporate Support • Support global M&A activity, including due diligence, transaction execution, and post-acquisition integration. • Advise the CFO and executive team on legal risk, deal structure, and strategic tradeoffs in high-stakes negotiations. • Develop pragmatic, business-forward solutions that balance legal rigor with speed and growth. • External Counsel Management • Manage and coordinate outsourced legal counsel, including international firms and specialized advisors. • Ensure high-quality, cost-effective legal support across jurisdictions. • Build scalable processes for contract review, escalation, and risk management. • Building for Scale • Help design and improve contract templates, playbooks, and internal processes to support rapid growth. • Over time, expand coverage into adjacent areas such as intellectual property, data protection, and regulatory matters, in partnership with external experts.

Benefits

• Direct executive exposure: You will report to the CFO and work closely with senior leadership. • Real leverage: Your work will directly impact revenue, risk, and strategic growth. • Growth trajectory: Clear runway to expand into IP, data, and broader legal leadership as the company scales. • High bar, high trust: We are looking for someone we can rely on—not someone to manage tightly. • WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance are offered through multiple PPO options. Worldly covers 90% employee premium and 60% spouse/dependent premium • Company-sponsored 401k with up to 4% match • Incentive Stock Options • 100% Parental Paid Leave • Unlimited PTO • 12 company holidays • LIFE AT WORLDLY • Our team is motivated to transform the way products are made. By helping our customers succeed in a new era of sustainable production, we can build technology that makes a difference on a planetary level. • Our team represents over 15 countries and brings unique experiences from technology to farming to the table. Surround yourself with kind, enthusiastic, and dedicated people who put collaboration and growth at the center of our shared goals. • Earn a competitive salary and performance-based bonuses. Get healthcare, retirement matching, and equity for US employees. • Use the office stipend to get the supplies you need • Flexible time off. Take the time you need to recharge. Our culture encourages team members to explore and rest to be their best selves. • We're remote, not lonely. Join the culture committee, coffee chats, or a variety of other interest groups. • Roles at Worldly may require occasional travel to support business needs, including but not limited to team collaboration, customer engagement, or company events. • EQUITY STATEMENT • We believe reflecting the diversity of those we strive to serve is essential. True innovation happens when everyone has room at the table, including the tools, resources, and opportunity to excel. We’re dedicated to building a culturally and experientially diverse team that leads and works with empathy and respect. • Work-From-Home Stipends • Final compensation figures will be determined based on a wide variety of factors, including experience and location. These factors will be evaluated and considered by Worldly throughout the entirety of this process.
