Requirements
• Experience working with Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) systems in manufacturing environments. • Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) • Strong background as a Business Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Systems Owner. • Business Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Systems Owner • Good understanding of enterprise manufacturing setups, factory operations, and production planning. • Strong stakeholder management and business-facing communication skills. • Excellent English communication (written and verbal). • Ability to work with multicultural/global teams. • Ability to speak Mandarin (preferred due to regular coordination with China teams). • Mandarin • Prior experience in semiconductor, electronics, or high-volume manufacturing industries. • Exposure to SAP / ERP / MES integrated environments is an advantage. • Work Location & Flexibility • Primary location: Bayan Lepas, Penang. • Hybrid work model: 50% office / 50% work from home. • Penang-based candidates may work from Georgetown or Kulim office, with visits to Bayan Lepas office when required. • Preference • Local Malaysia / Penang-based candidates preferred.
Responsibilities
• Analyze business and manufacturing requirements and convert them into IT/OT functional specifications • Support implementation, configuration, and enhancement of APS systems for manufacturing operations • Manage planning and scheduling models including capacity planning, sequencing, constraints, tools, and resources • Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, and supply chain teams to align system logic with business needs • Prepare functional/design specifications, test cases, and perform system validation • Provide L2 support for APS and related IT/OT systems • Support integrations with MES, ERP, and manufacturing platforms • Conduct user training and develop training materials • Drive process improvement initiatives such as Lean, Productivity Improvement, and KAIZEN
