Requirements

• You are an undergraduate student currently enrolled in a sandwich degree that supports a placement year • You are studying a Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or a related field • Creative approach combined with a collaborative and proactive attitude • Excellent research skills, with the ability to synthesize information into actionable insights • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong curiosity about pop culture, digital media, social trends, and content marketing • Passion for mobile games and familiarity with Merge Dragons! or similar titles. • What You’ll Learn: • What You’ll Learn: • How live operations content is built and managed in a top-performing mobile game • How to conduct creative tests and optimize content over time for specific audiences • The process of trend-based ideation and translating real-world influences into game design • How to collaborate cross-functionally between Product, Creative, and Marketing teams • Tools, processes, and pipelines used in a mobile game studio

Responsibilities

• Identify and monitor emerging trends in digital culture, mobile gaming, lifestyle, pop culture, and social media • Translate trend research into pitches and briefs for new in-game events, assets, and themed content concepts • Collaborate with the Live Ops team to plan and refine seasonal content calendars • Assist with content audits to ensure thematic variety and freshness in the game’s live event cycles • Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing your own ideas for engaging and timely content drops • Research competitors and analyze how other games leverage trends and events
