Requirements
• Essential • Essential • 4+ years of editing experience in a commercial, agency or production environment • After Effects skills: motion graphics, compositing, text animation, visual effects • Fast output mindset: comfortable with high volume without losing quality • Organised self-starter: can manage multiple briefs, set your own priorities and deliver without being chased • Senior enough to give direction and manage junior editors effectively • Strong communication: proactive, clear, reliable • Desirable • Desirable • Familiarity with AI creative tools (Runway, Kling, Luma, Midjourney, or similar) • Experience editing social-first content Reels, TikTok, YouTube formats • Ability to shoot on a camera (helpful but not a deciding factor) • Experience in a fast-paced creative studio or production company environment • People who care about the quality of the frame and the quality of the process equally • Fast movers who don't use speed as an excuse for sloppiness • People who are honest when something isn't working and proactive about fixing it • Curious minds: AI is changing how we make things and we want people who find that exciting, not threatening
Responsibilities
• Editing & Content • Editing & Content • Lead editor across client deliverables, social content, pitch videos and internal projects • Create fast-turnaround social assets and brand content often working across multiple briefs simultaneously • Use After Effects for motion graphics, compositing, titles and visual polish • Collaborate with Creative Directors and producers to understand briefs and deliver to time • Team Leadership • Team Leadership • Day-to-day management of the junior editor and freelance editors as the team grows • Build and maintain a small editors pod; delegating briefs, reviewing cuts, maintaining quality • Work with Production to plan edit schedules, flag capacity issues and manage turnaround expectations • Cross-functional • Cross-functional • Support pitch production: quick-turn concept videos, demo reels, deck animations • Collaborate with AI artists and creative technologists: you don't need to be an AI specialist but you should be curious and adaptable
