• Fast-moving, curious, and collaborative. • Always working toward high-impact outcomes • Committed to transparency, trust, and clear ownership across teams. • Focused on building a supportive environment where people can do their best workIntentional about how we scale our operations, process, and systems. • Lean, agile, and unafraid to dive into the details to get things done. • Accounting department builder at heart • 10+ years experience with prior experience at top tier public accounting firm • 2+ years of recent experience at a crypto company or crypto native • Experience or familiarity with digital asset accounting is highly preferred • Prior experience leading a financial audit in partnership with external auditors • CPA license holder • Experience with multi-entity operations • Strong proficiency in accounting software, financial planning tools and microsoft excel • Great communicator with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong attention to detail and highly organized and tactical • Ability to think strategically about department building and rolling out new processes • Excited to roll up your sleeves and comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment, executing on multiple projects at any given time
Responsibilities
• Lead the monthly close process and prepare and analyze financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and statements of cash flow • Drive process improvements and automation while optimizing accounting systems and tools • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and stay current with FASB and SEC guidance especially on digital assets • Oversee payroll, accounts payable, expense reimbursements, and accounts receivable • Own digital asset reporting and reconciliations • Provide support to management for financial decisions • Work with tax partners on filings and returns • Build and mentor the Accounting team • with time at a Big 4 accounting firm • 2+ years recent • at a crypto company or crypto native • CPA license holder • leading financial audits with external auditors • Strong proficiency in accounting software, financial tools, and Microsoft Excel • with multi-entity operations • Digital asset accounting familiarity highly preferred • Annual company offsite + team onsites • Professional reimbursement program for conferences and certifications • Medical, dental & vision coverage • 401k retirement plan + company match (US only) • Wellness stipend • Home office set up / ergonomic equipment program To apply: Apply directly here https://jobs.lever.co/offchainlabs/ccd3b5d3-1797-4a06-98ae-22a6937ab8c8/apply (This role cannot be performed in California or Colorado).
