Muck Rack - Senior Media Intelligence Analyst
Responsibilities
• Review, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy, relevance, editorial quality, and alignment with client requirements • Perform hands-on editorial and analytical work, including summarizing media coverage, tagging and categorizing content, selecting relevant articles, and grouping related stories • Manage assigned services against established briefs, quality standards, and deadlines, proactively identifying and escalating risks that could affect delivery • Partner with Customer Service to implement client requests and changes to ongoing Media Intelligence services • Collaborate with Service Automation and Information Technology teams to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and support service and workflow improvements • Work with Sales and MI Solutions on sample and trial services for prospective and existing clients • Use internal systems to document issues, escalate unresolved requests, and follow through with relevant teams until resolution • Maintain accurate and up-to-date service documentation, including client briefs and operational guides • Contribute to individual and team performance goals while helping maintain consistent quality across Media Intelligence services • To Be Set Up for Success in This Role, You'll Need to Have • 4+ years of relevant experience in media monitoring, media intelligence, media analysis, editorial operations, or a related field • Hands-on experience reviewing and validating media content, including summarization, content selection, categorization, tagging, or digest creation • Strong editorial judgment and writing skills, with the ability to turn complex media coverage into concise, accurate, and useful summaries • Experience independently managing recurring client deliverables or services, including requirements, deadlines, quality standards, and competing priorities • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying quality issues, resolving operational challenges, and improving processes • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly with teammates and cross-functional partners • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively • Comfort working with automated and AI-supported workflows while applying strong human judgment and quality standards • If Any of the Below Also Describe You, This Could Be an Exciting Opportunity • You have experience with AI-supported editorial, media monitoring, content analysis, or quality-assurance workflows • You have experience analyzing media coverage across multiple markets, geographies, or languages • You have worked in a client-facing or service-delivery environment where accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery are critical • You enjoy investigating issues, identifying patterns, and finding ways to improve workflows and service quality • You have experience working across multiple teams to resolve operational or content-quality issues • You’re interested in how AI and automation can improve media intelligence workflows while maintaining strong editorial standards • In Addition, We're Always Looking for Candidates Who • Take ownership of their work and follow through on commitments • Bring strong attention to detail while keeping the broader client need in mind • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across teams and functions • Approach problems proactively and look for opportunities to improve how work gets done • Exercise sound judgment when balancing quality, speed, and client requirements • Are comfortable working in an evolving environment where technology, automation, and human judgment work together • Proactively incorporates AI tools into day-to-day work to improve productivity and accelerate delivery
