The Motley Fool - Business Intelligence Analyst (Contract)
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in a business intelligence, data analysis, data-informed decision-making, or strategy role. • Proven ability to extract, manipulate, and transform large datasets via Python and/or SQL. • Proficiency in data visualization techniques and tools including Tableau. • Bachelor's degree, preferably in data science, finance, statistics, economics, or a related field. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for a non-technical audience. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, consultative approach. • Statistical experiment design and testing including inferential statistics. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Experience or familiarity with financial services, digital publishing, or subscription products (preferred). • Proficiency with ML/AI techniques including predictive models to uncover insights and deploy optimizations (plus). • Experience working with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics (plus). • Experience with Jira/project management tools and Git-based workflows (preferred).
Responsibilities
• The Business Intelligence/Data Analyst plays a critical role in driving strategic decision-making.
