BaubleBar - Technical Jewelry Designer – Remote or Hybrid NYC

• BaubleBar is looking for a Technical Designer to support the design team to create technical packs to send to the vendor for samples. Ideal candidates have a strong understanding of jewelry construction, are creative problem solvers, have a strong attention to detail and able to work independently. Candidates should be able to use their background of jewelry and apply that knowledge to the Baublebar brand aesthetic and price points. • WHAT WE WANT YOU TO DO: • Have extensive knowledge of jewelry design/development, materials and construction • jewelry • Create intricate technical packs from design sketches, ensuring accuracy of measurements, construction and detail • Understand dimensional nature of jewelry styles and ability to render accurately using Illustrator • Bring a high level of efficiency, attention to detail, and accuracy while working under tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high-pressure environment while balancing deadlines in an efficient, flexible, and professional manner • Role can be Hybrid with time onsite at our NYC HQ or fully remote (residing anywhere in the United States and authorized to work in the U.S.) • WHAT WE WANT TO SEE: • 3-5 years of technical design experience (jewelry/accessory experience required) • Bachelor’s Degree in Jewelry Design, Design, Fine Art, or related degree preferred • Proficiency in Illustrator • Ability to work autonomously with strong attention to detail • Strong technical drawing abilities • Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to provide/receive constructive feedback • All candidates MUST submit a link or attachment including any relevant work and/or a portfolio
