Requirements
• Use knowledge of the trading system domain to influence the technical direction of the Brokerage team and advocate for improved processes or technology • 3+ years of professional experience with Go • Experience with modern software development practices, including automated unit, integration and end-to-end testing, cloud development, database design (MySQL or PostgreSQL) and Git • Knowledge of financial asset trading systems and understanding of several topics such as Order Execution Management Systems (OEMS), FIX protocol, market data, low latency architectures, matching engines, derivatives, position/risk management, or cryptocurrency trading • GraphQL or gRPC API design and implementation experience • Background in the finance industry
Responsibilities
• Participate in task breakdown, estimation, design, implementation and maintenance of trading systems • Use knowledge of the trading system domain to influence the technical direction of the Brokerage team and advocate for improved processes or technology • Dive deep into complex, ambiguous problems and formulate elegant and practical solutions • Review other developers code to ensure consistency, reduce errors and share context • Drive iterative system improvement by implementing robust instrumentation and metric collection • 3+ years of professional • with modern software development practices, including automated unit, integration and end-to-end testing, cloud development, database design (MySQL or PostgreSQL) and Git • Knowledge of financial asset trading systems and understanding of several topics such as Order Execution Management Systems (OEMS), FIX protocol, market data, low latency architectures, matching engines, derivatives, • /risk management, or cryptocurrency trading • building financial trading systems • Passion for good software engineering practices (TDD, SOLID, refactoring) and strong focus on code quality and test infrastructure • Belief that software engineering is a team activity with enjoyment in collaborating, learning from, and mentoring others Nice-to-have: • GraphQL or gRPC API design and implementation • Background in the finance industry
