GitLab - Senior Analyst, Analytics and Insights

• Experience working in a similar analytics and insights role within a B2B SaaS environment, ideally focused on finance or revenue-related topics. • Proficiency in SQL and in using business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau to build and maintain dashboards and reports. • Background in developing, validating, and maintaining analytics datasets, dashboards, and recurring reporting with strong attention to data quality and accuracy. • Ability to translate complex, ambiguous data into clear, structured insights that connect business objectives, key performance indicators, and actionable recommendations. • Skill in identifying data gaps, defining clear requirements, and partnering with data and product teams to improve data capture and underlying data structures. • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting findings to non-technical audiences and collaborating with partners in Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Product. • Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and asynchronous environment, managing multiple priorities and driving work independently. • Openness to candidates with diverse backgrounds and transferable skills who can demonstrate strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and a data-informed approach to decision-making. • You'll join our small, focused Finance analytics team of three within Analytics & Insights. We work asynchronously across regions, using shared dashboards and documentation to keep work transparent and collaborative.
