Requirements
• Basic technical knowledge of digital assets and the industry, and the ability to articulate core offerings to prospects that plays to Anchorage Digital’s strengths in the market. • Build relationships with prospects in early conversations and communicate Anchorage Digital’s value propositions. • Complexity and Impact of Work: • Lead efforts for pipeline growth and top of funnel expansion across all business lines, in close partnership with sales reps and marketing stakeholders. • Manage a pipeline of prospects in Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and sharing client feedback with product and engineering. • Organizational Knowledge: • Collaborate closely across departments to optimize the lead qualification and conversion process. • Deliver timely and detailed reporting on progress. • Communication and Influence: • Contribute actively to team activities and serve as a team player. • Build productive internal and external working relationships that will help originate new prospects and elevate the reputation of Anchorage Digital in the industry. • You may be a fit for this role if you have: • 3+ years of experience, including at least 1 year of experience within digital assets. • Experience in a prior BDR role within a Fintech or SaaS company. • Self-starter and strong drive to grow business within a market-leading company. • Although not a requirement, bonus points if: • A passion for and understanding of the crypto ecosystem. • You were emotionally moved by the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the founding of a new financial system. :)
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute business development strategies to identify new opportunities for growth within the company's existing client base as well as potential clients in target markets. • Attend industry events such as conferences, trade shows, seminars, webinars, etc., representing our brand at these functions with a focus on networking and lead generation activities. • Identify new business opportunities by conducting market research to understand the needs of potential clients in target markets or industries where we currently do not operate but have growth potential. • Establish relationships with key decision makers within organizations that represent significant revenue streams for our company, and maintain these contacts through regular communication via phone calls, emails, video conferences etc., to nurture business opportunities identified during market research activities or at industry events. • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape in target markets by conducting thorough analysis using various sources such as trade publications, online databases and reports from other companies operating within those industries/markets. This will help to identify potential threats and opportunities for our business development efforts. • Collaborate with marketing team members on the creation of promotional materials including brochures, presentations etc., that highlight company's products or services as well as new developments in order to generate interest among target audien0es during industry events/conferences and through direct outreach. • Monitor social media platforms for mentions related to our brand name, competitors names within the markets we are interested in expanding into; this will help us understand customer sentiment towards these brands as well as identify potential leads or opportunities that may not be accessible via traditional market research methods alone. • Develop and maintain an up-to-date database of contacts including their contact information, company details etc., which can then be used by other members within the team when required for follow-up activities such as cold calling/emailing potential leads identified during industry events or through social media monitoring efforts mentioned above; this will help streamline communication between different departments working towards common business development goals. • Attend and participate in relevant training programs offered by our company to stay abreast of latest trends within the digital currency space as well as develop new skills required for effective performance on job duties outlined herein above; this includes attending webinars hosted internally or externally conducted workshops/conferences organized specifically around topics related directly towards business development efforts undertaken by our company at present moment in time. • Maintain regular communication with senior management regarding progress made against set goals and objectives outlined within job description above; this includes providing updates on identified opportunities for growth alongwith any challenges faced during pursuit thereof which may require additional support from other departments working towards similar business development efforts undertaken by our company at present moment in time.
