• Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field. • Must be fluent in English. Fluency in French preferred. Knowledge of other European languages a plus. • Minimum of five years of experience in a communications role. • Preferred experience in immigration or child-focused issues. • Passion for KIND’s mission of supporting unaccompanied and separated children and an ability to lead strategic communications to help achieve desired programmatic objectives. • Proven experience in journalism, communications, or content generation. • Strong presentation and public speaking skills and the ability to communicate effectively to a variety of stakeholders. • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills including the ability to accurately synthesize complex and sensitive material for a variety of audiences. • Knowledge of the media landscape in Europe. • Strong digital and social media skills. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (such as Word, Teams, Excel, etc.) • Ability to work collaboratively and multi-task in our KIND environment, managing numerous priorities and emerging opportunities. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment; ability to prioritize tasks and delegate as appropriate. • Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. • Commitment to practicing and supporting well-being and a work-home life balance. • Experience working and communicating in a remote environment. • Application Instructions • To be considered for this role, please submit an employment application at supportkind.org/join-the-team, along with your resume and cover letter. • Disclaimer: KIND is committed to an ethical recruitment and hiring process and maintains a firm “no fees” recruitment policy.
