Requirements
• We are looking for talented software engineers to join our London front office trading technology team, to build and evolve the server-side systems that drive our high touch trading workflows. These systems are used directly by internal traders and external counterparties. • You will work closely with the trading and product teams to design and maintain robust JVM-based systems that support order management, trade execution and real-time pricing. • You will have a strong server-side Java development background, with experience in high touch trading workflows (OTC Markets, Block Trades, Dealer Intervention and Voice Assisted Trading) • You will have the ability to work independently, have strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a desire to own issues and see them through to resolution. • 10+ years of relevant development experience • Excellent core Java skills • Exceptional knowledge of concurrency, multithreaded programming and JVM performance • Knowledge of high-touch trading workflows (OTC markets, block trades, voice-assisted trading) • Knowledge of Order Management Systems • Experience leading a team • Development experience in a performance sensitive environment like eFX • Fault tolerant, high availability, distributed computing • Knowledge of low latency messaging (e.g. Aeron, 29West) • Code optimization and profiling capabilities • Docker / Kubernetes / AWS • Knowledge of Crypto
