Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in in Information Technology, Computer Science, a business-related field or equivalent experience. • Minimum of 6-10 years of business or technology experience. • Minimum 6 years of project management experience, with a focus on technology projects. • Demonstrated experience managing a variety of IT project types, including infrastructure or architecture updates, system implementations, Corporate IT changes and technology or personnel integrations • Experience working closely with or embedded within a Technology team as a primary stakeholder is required. • Experience in the financial services industry or technology industry is preferred • Experience working with or managing projects in Smartsheet is preferred. • PMP and Agile certification a plus. • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel. • Familiarity with IT domains such as cloud platforms, cybersecurity, networking, and software development lifecycles. • Ability to translate technical concepts and project details for non-technical stakeholders and executive audiences • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence, and gain consensus across all organizational levels and functional team types. • In-depth knowledge of project management methodology, including waterfall, agile, and hybrid approaches • Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building effective relationships within technology, business functions and 3rd party relationships. • Comfortable navigating ambiguity. • Entrepreneurial mindset to bring best practice ideas to the team. • Your standards reflect our core values: Growth Mindset, Disciplined Curiosity, Grit, Results Ownership, Collaboration.
Responsibilities
• Lead and direct complex, cross-functional technology projects ensuring familiarity with scope, objectives and technical dependencies. • Partner closely with the Technology team as the primary project driver while maintaining alignment with Business Transformation standards and governance practices • Communicate project plans to affected parties to ensure a common understanding, set proper expectations, and align technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Manage projects in Smartsheet, the Enterprise Project Management Software, ensuring consistent use of shared tools and templates across enterprise projects • Facilitate project meetings and create & publish all project and meeting materials, including technology summaries accessible to non-technical audiences. • Identify, capture and escalate any project issues, risks, actions, and blockers, including those with technical complexity or cross-functional impact. • Monitor project work and execute change control where necessary. • Manage project budget, including vendor and licensing costs, where applicable. • Develop and execute change management plans to support technology adoption across impacted teams and business units • Coordinate the integration of new technologies, platforms, systems into the Great Gray environment • Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to executive management. • Interact with employees at all levels of the organization as well as external technology vendors and partners involved in projects. • Manage changes to project scope and schedule. • Complete other related duties as assigned.
