Requirements
• A minimum of one year of experience in title or escrow • Strong problem solver, comfortable working cross-functionally to identify and troubleshoot questions • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable communicating with customers via phone and email • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment as an individual contributor and in collaboration with internal and external partners • A high degree of organization, while maintaining the flexibility to reprioritize quickly • Self-motivated and capable of managing tasks autonomously • Technical aptitude: proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suites, and comfortable learning new systems • Fluency with escrow and title software, ideally Qualia • The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $65,000, depending on your experience, skills, location, and other factors. You’ll also receive meaningful equity, so you can share in our growth and success. Responsibilities
• Title Clearance: Take ownership of clearing title requirements in preparation for closing, which includes ordering payoff demands, tracking down lien releases, and obtaining necessary signed affidavits. • Title Clearance: • Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact, maintaining proactive and clear communication with clients from the initial title distribution all the way through to closing preparation. • Client Communication: • External Title Coordination: Act as the main liaison and maintain consistent communication with external title companies on transactions where title insurance is not handled in-house. • External Title Coordination: • Document Review & Quality Control: Meticulously review signed closing documents for accuracy and completeness. Coordinate directly with notaries to efficiently manage and execute any necessary corrections on signed documents. • Document Review & Quality Control: • Escrow & Financial Support: Support Escrow Officers throughout the escrow lifecycle, including actively assisting with file balancing and ledger management when needed. • Escrow & Financial Support:
