Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of analytics,  business intelligence, or sales engineering experience • Customer relationship skills • Strong understanding of database concepts • Understanding of advanced spreadsheet concepts • Cloud data warehouse experience - Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced startup environment • Experience implementing production business intelligence solutions or proof of concepts • Bachelor’s degree in technical/analytics field or equivalent technical & business experience • 10% Travel some day! • Qualifications We Want (also, skills you’ll learn!) • Experience at a SaaS company or with cloud architectures • Experience with data analytics business use cases • Startup experience • ETL experience - Fivetran, Matillion or traditional ETL • Sigma is the AI apps and analytics platform connected to the cloud data warehouse. Using Sigma, business and technical teams can build intelligent, production-ready AI apps that accelerate and automate operational workflows. Sigma provides a spreadsheet interface, SQL and Python editors, visual builders, and native AI to help teams turn live data into interactive applications, analysis, reports, and embedded experiences. • Sigma announced its $200M in Series D financing in May 2024, to continue transforming BI through its innovations in AI infrastructure, data application development, enterprise-wide collaboration, and business user adoption. Spark Capital and Avenir Growth Capital co-led the Series D funding round, with additional participation from a group of past investors including Snowflake Ventures and Sutter Hill Ventures.The Series D funding, raised at a valuation 60% higher than the company’s Series C round three years ago, promises to further accelerate Sigma’s growth.

Responsibilities

• Understand and uncover business challenges and issues faced by the customer and be able to run targeted discovery sessions or workshops • Engage with business users to define, create, and showcase solution prototypes • Build and present customized demos for customers, trade shows, and webinars • Confidently present and articulate the business value of the Sigma platform to all levels within an organization • Deliver product, technical, and security related responses to RFPs/RFIs • Participate in product, sales, and relevant technology certifications to acquire, maintain, and grow skill sets • Work as a team player by contributing, learning, and sharing new knowledge • Be conversant in integration and data migration approaches to help customers develop their data lifecycle and analytics strategy with Sigma • Manage multiple customer engagements concurrently • Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management • Become a Sigma champion and product expert; prospects and customers will look to you for advice and expertise
