Remote Mid NA Accountant

Requirements

• Degree in accounting, taxation, law, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional expertise. • 3+ years of experience in tax accounting, compliance, or advisory work. • Strong knowledge of tax rules and research methods in at least one jurisdiction. • Experience with tax workpapers, spreadsheets, and relevant tax software. • Fluent English, with strong written communication skills. • Recognized tax or accounting qualification; experience with cross-border taxation, tax provisions, or multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Design tasks involving corporate income tax, indirect taxes, withholding, tax reconciliations, or other areas within your specialty. • Specify the jurisdiction, tax period, relevant facts, and applicable rules for each task. • Develop reference solutions with accurate calculations, supporting schedules, and authoritative citations. • Evaluate agents researching tax guidance, identifying adjustments, preparing workpapers, and explaining conclusions. • Identify outdated rules, jurisdictional errors, unsupported deductions, and missing factual information.
