Requirements

• Strong experience in credit risk strategy or decisioning analytics within a banking or consumer lending environment. • Proficiency in SQL, SAS and Excel (Advanced) with a credit risk modelling and scorecard environment. • Hands-on experience managing or using application scorecards and credit decision frameworks. • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear strategic recommendations. • Experience producing high-quality MI and presentations for senior stakeholders and governance forums. • Good understanding of the end-to-end credit lifecycle, particularly the front-book / applications stage. • It would be great, but not essential if you have: • It would be great, but not essential if you have • Exposure to model development techniques (e.g. logistic regression, machine learning models) and model governance processes. • Experience using Python • Experience working with decisioning platforms and strategy deployment tools. • Familiarity with UK regulatory expectations relevant to retail credit (e.g. risk appetite, Consumer Duty, model risk governance). • Experience across multiple lending products (e.g. motor finance, personal loans, mortgages). • Qualities we look for: • Commercially minded, with a strong sense of proportion and judgement. • Comfortable operating in a change-driven environment with multiple stakeholders. • Able to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative strategy team. • Confident engaging and influencing stakeholders across Risk, Product and Technology. • Rewards that reflect your value, what’s in it for you?At Tandem, your hard work is rewarded in many ways, and we have an enhanced employee benefits package on offer from your very first day with us:

The Credit Risk team is a second line team within the Risk & Compliance function. Our aim is to provide oversight of Credit Risk across the full customer lifecycle and across the entire suite of Bank products. • Reporting to the Credit Risk Analytics Manager, the Senior Credit Risk Analyst will be responsible for analytics across the wider Credit Risk team, supporting full customer lifecycle oversight across Personal Loans, Motor Finance, 1st and 2nd Charge Mortgages and Green Lending. • Your Impact: Building a sustainable tomorrow • As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst at Tandem your focus will be on: • Designing, reviewing and optimising applications credit risk strategies, including policy rules, scorecard cut-offs and affordability decisioning. • Managing the ongoing performance of application scorecards, identifying emerging risk, performance drift or opportunities to improve risk-return outcomes. • Supporting the development, enhancement and implementation of new scorecards and segmentation approaches in partnership with Credit Analytics and Model Risk teams. • Producing clear, decision-focused MI and analysis covering application volumes, approval rates, risk performance and strategy impacts. • Delivering insight and recommendations to senior management and Credit Committees, contributing to strategy papers and governance submissions. • Leading or supporting the deployment of credit strategy changes into live decisioning environments, ensuring changes are well-controlled and appropriately governed. • Monitoring post-deployment outcomes to confirm strategies perform in line with expectations and the Bank’s risk appetite. • Working closely with Product, Underwriting, Technology and Operations to support new product launches, policy changes and strategic initiatives. • Helping to continuously improve credit strategy frameworks, documentation and controls, ensuring alignment with regulatory and internal standards. • 25 days annual leave plus 8 days Bank Holiday • An additional day off for a ‘celebration day’ including, but not limited to, birthdays, weddings, religious holidays, graduations etc • Buy or sell up to 5 days holiday a year • Healthcare cash plan through Westfield Health • Life Assurance at 3 x salary • Electric Vehicle salary sacrifice scheme • Cycle to Work salary sacrifice scheme and a free helmet • Salary sacrifice Pension contribution*, 4% employee contributions matched with 4% Tandem contribution (*Subject to salary eligibility) • Smart Tech scheme (buy goods with 0% interest) • 10% discount on solar panels • Tandem Hub for treats, cash back and discounts on UK retailers • 2 days per year paid volunteering • Quarterly team social budgets • Our Green Deal: Your Impact Amplified • A little welcome gift from us to you, we’ll plant a tree in the Tandem Grove and you can enter into our “Green Deal” below: • Volunteer 14.25 hours a year for charity > receive a half day on a Friday • Take part in a fundraising event > Tandem will match up to £200 a year • Have renewable energy at home > receive an additional 1-day annual leave • Drive an electric car > receive £500 towards a home charger • Use public transport or have a low emissions/hybrid car > entry into a £200 prize draw • Ready to make your mark? • Sourcing Model
