Requirements

• 5+ years of Global Enterprise Account Management experience in the payments industry • Strong communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, presentation, written, email) and track record of creating and executing strategic account plans • Strong grasp of industry trends and competitive landscape • Familiarity and first-hand knowledge in fintech, banking or payments • Positive attitude, team player, adaptable, and resourceful • Technical aptitude with demonstrated ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts in a straightforward manner • Experience or familiarity with high-growth fintechs and financial services companies • Card Issuing and Processing experience • Proven experience growing and scaling strategic or enterprise accounts • Proven track record of managing global customers with multi region stakeholders • Proven track record of cross-selling and upselling, and ability to identify new revenue streams based on customer needs • Experience partnering with banking operations teams and external banking partners to drive critical submissions to completion • Experience participating in business reviews and using data-driven strategies to make informed decisions • Typical Process • Typical Process • Application submission • Recruiter video call • Hiring manager video call • Virtual “Onsite” consisting of 3 - 4 video interviews • Final Interview with Sales Leader • Compensation and Benefits in Marqeta’s Revenue Organization • Marqeta is a Flex First company which allows you to choose your best working environment, whether that be from home or at a company office. Compensation is aligned according to three tiers within the United States: • National: A baseline tier that applies to most of the geographic territory of the United States. • National • Premium: Slightly elevated from the National tier, and oriented toward a narrower set of higher cost-of-living areas, such as Los Angeles CA and Seattle WA • Premium • Premium Plus: A tier for the most expensive working areas, like the San Francisco Bay area and New York City. • Premium Plus • Visit this page or consult with a Recruiter to determine which tier would be applicable to you. • Within our Revenue organization at Marqeta, On Target Earnings (OTE) is composed of a mix between annual salary and variable compensation, which is earned based on your individual performance and that of your immediate team. The split is 70/30. • When determining an OTE figure we consider several factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior experience, and work location.
