Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline. • 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Tools development • Strong programming skills in Java with a focus on tooling and automation • Extend and customize open-source tools such as:o Functional/UI Testing: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appiumo API Testing: Postman/Bruno, REST Assured, Karate • Integrate testing tools with:o Test Management & Issue Tracking: Jira, Qmetryo Reporting & Analytics: ReportPortal, Allure, ExtentReports, Grafanao CI/CD Pipelines: Jenkins, Harness, ArgoCD, GitLab, SonarQubeo Device Farms: BrowserStack, LambdaTest for cross-platform and mobile testing • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, gRPC, WebSockets, & event-driven or asynchronous architectures. • Well-versed in Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies, with a focus on iterative development and continuous delivery. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
• Tool Development & Framework Design: • Develop reusable libraries, plugins, and CLI tools to support test execution, reporting, and integrationwith CI/CD pipelines. • Build scalable test harnesses for distributed systems, microservices, mobile native and cloud SaaSapplications. • Automation & Scripting: • Write robust, maintainable code in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript to automate test workflows. • Integrate tools with version control systems (Git), CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, Harness), and artifact repositories • DevOps & Infrastructure Integration: • Containerize tools using Docker and orchestrate test environments using Kubernetes. • Collaboration & Enablement: • Partner with QE, SRE/DevOps, and development teams to understand testing pain points and delivertooling solutions.
