Requirements
• French and/or Italian strongly preferred • Switzerland, with primary focus on Zurich and Zug • Experience working with digital asset platforms, custody infrastructure, blockchain technologies, or institutional crypto solutions. • Exposure to core banking platforms such as avaloq or similar enterprise financial systems. • Background in enterprise SaaS, managed services, fintech infrastructure, or long-term client operations. • Experience scaling enterprise organizations within financial technology or infrastructure businesses. • Existing network within Swiss and broader EMEA financial services markets.
Responsibilities
• Strategic Client Leadership & Market Development • Define and execute the EMEA enterprise growth and enterprise sales strategy together with the Chief Product Officer and global enterprise leadership team. • Drive enterprise revenue growth and strategic account expansion across institutional financial services markets. • Act as a trusted advisor to financial institutions exploring digital assets, Bitcoin infrastructure, and blockchain-enabled financial services. • Build and expand long-term strategic relationships with executive stakeholders, including C-suite leaders, business owners, innovation teams, and technology leadership. • Lead highly consultative enterprise sales engagements focused on understanding client operating models, business challenges, regulatory considerations, commercial objectives, and infrastructure needs. • Drive complex enterprise sales cycles from strategic discovery through solution design, stakeholder alignment, commercial structuring, negotiation, and delivery oversight. • Proven ability to originate, develop, negotiate, and close high-value enterprise opportunities with measurable commercial impact and recurring long-term client value. • Position Blockstream as a credible long-term infrastructure partner within institutional financial markets. • Enterprise Solution Engagement & Delivery Oversight • Partner closely with clients to shape customized enterprise solutions leveraging Bitcoin infrastructure, Layer-2 technologies, digital asset platforms, and interoperability capabilities. • Lead strategic solution discussions across business, operational, compliance, and technical domains. • Oversee enterprise implementation programs and ensure alignment between client expectations, commercial objectives, and delivery realities. • Support the growth and adoption of Liquid and Lightning ecosystems by helping institutions understand practical use cases, operational value, and integration opportunities. • Navigate highly regulated enterprise environments with professionalism, structure, and strong stakeholder management. • Balance client expectations, commercial constraints, and delivery execution while maintaining high-quality enterprise engagement throughout all phases of the client lifecycle. • Cross-Functional Leadership • Build and lead a high-performing enterprise business development and client engagement organization across EMEA. • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, delivery, legal, compliance, and marketing teams to ensure successful enterprise outcomes. • Serve as the strategic bridge between enterprise clients and internal teams, ensuring client feedback informs product evolution, market positioning, and delivery priorities. • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer obsession, commercial excellence, and execution focus. • Work collaboratively across multiple teams and geographies, demonstrating strong ownership and leadership in fast-moving environments. • Thought Leadership & Industry Presence • Represent Blockstream at industry conferences, executive forums, and client events across the financial services ecosystem. • Contribute to strategic market positioning and thought leadership around institutional Bitcoin adoption and digital asset infrastructure. • Stay closely aligned with market trends, competitive dynamics, regulatory developments, and enterprise transformation priorities across EMEA financial markets. • What We Look For In You (Required Qualifications) • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Technology, Business, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred. • 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, consultative selling, strategic consulting, client engagement, financial technology, or complex solution delivery within financial services. • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding enterprise sales targets and delivering measurable commercial growth within complex B2B and institutional environments. • Demonstrated success managing complex consultative enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, long decision-making processes, executive engagement, commercial negotiations, and enterprise transformation initiatives. • Strong experience selling complex technology, infrastructure, SaaS, platform, or transformation solutions into enterprise and institutional clients. • Demonstrated success building and scaling strategic enterprise client relationships and converting strategic advisory engagements into long-term commercial partnerships. • Experience engaging executive-level stakeholders across investment banks, private banks, hedge funds, asset managers, financial infrastructure providers, or enterprise technology organizations. • Strong understanding of enterprise technology environments, financial infrastructure, APIs, integration ecosystems, and operational transformation challenges. • Deep interest in digital assets, Bitcoin infrastructure, blockchain technologies, and institutional adoption trends. • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance client expectations, technical complexity, commercial realities, and delivery execution. • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities. • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, highly entrepreneurial, and globally distributed environments. • Self-starter with strong ownership mentality and ability to collaborate effectively across functions, cultures, and geographies.
