Reddit - Engineering Manager, Product Catalogs
Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in backend or full stack product development • 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams • You're highly technical, enough to solve almost any problem your team has yourself, but you prefer to guide your team into solving them. • Ability to work independently. You’ll be working with stakeholders that are mostly based in North America. You need to be able to make decisions and solve problems autonomously. • Excellent communication skills. You must be able to collaborate effectively with teams in a fully-remote environment and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
• Create a world class catalogs system that can scale to support billions of products • Work closely with product managers and designers to craft compelling user experiences • Collaborate with a wide range of teams from Ad Formats to Ad Delivery to ensure successful end-to-end delivery of product ads • Establish and manage to SLAs within your team • Be a strong mentor and cross-functional advocate for your team • Contribute meaningfully to team strategy.
