• Preferred Experience•    Software & application security tools experience•    Software security services sales experience • The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $79,800-$119,700. In addition, this role is eligible for commission. Black Duck offers a competitive total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education. • $79,800—$119,700 USD

Responsibilities

• Required Skills & Knowledge•    Minimum 5 years of software sales experience &/or Sales Development Rep experience•    Proven track record of exceeding software sales &/or lead generation & revenue targets•    Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles•    Proven ability to sell multiyear licensing agreements•    Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and executives•    Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills•    Excellent communications and presentations skills•    Excellent team skills to work with sales engineers, managers & other co-workers
