Requirements
• This is a fully remote, part-time, 1099 contract role. • CRCST certification • 3+ years of professional experience as a Sterile Processing technician • Experience teaching, training, tutoring, or instructing students or staff • Comfortability teaching live online classes over Zoom • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable using LMS platforms and virtual teaching tools • Ability to follow a standardized curriculum while adapting explanations to different learning styles • Commitment to inclusive, accessible, and career-focused healthcare education • Ability to work 10 hours per week per class, Monday - Thursday • You have experience teaching Sterile Processing or CRCST exam preparation courses • You have experience supporting diverse, underserved, or non-traditional student populations • You have experience with online or hybrid education programs • You have familiarity with competency-based education • Interview Process: • Case Study Assignment • Final Interview with Hiring Manager • The hourly pay rate for this opportunity is $30.00/hour. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, internal pay equity and other relevant business considerations.
Responsibilities
• Teach and facilitate live online classes for assigned cohorts on Mondays through Thursdays. • Deliver clear, engaging instruction aligned with Stepful’s standardized curriculum. • Support students in understanding Sterile Processing concepts across CRCST exam domains. • Assess student understanding through assignments, quizzes, and class participation. • Provide timely feedback and targeted remediation to struggling students. • Communicate regularly with learners via email and Stepful community tools. • Document student progress, attendance, and performance in Stepful systems. • Collaborate with the learning team for curriculum alignment and addressing learner needs. • Offer insights to improve the student experience and delivery of instructional content.
