Requirements

• 8+ years experience as a Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect or Pre-Sales Consultant • Experience working in a technical client-facing role • Familiar with API based integration methods, associated best practices, and related tools/frameworks • Experience with at least one common front-end (pure JavaScript, React, Angular, etc) and back-end (Java, .NET, Python, Node, etc) technology • Commercially-minded • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • It’s important we set you up for success and make our process as accessible as possible. Responsibilities

• Upfront qualifications of merchants technical needs • Work with Sales to provide product/business/tech knowledge in support of pre-sales activities • Prepare and lead technical/commercial workshops • Provide inputs for proposals and large and complex RFP and RFI responses • Improve solution design, documentation and realisation of custom merchant solutions • Improve communication with merchants on a technical level during the sales process • Translate product, business and technical requirements into solutions • Being constantly up to date with industry standards in order to offer the best bespoke solutions to our merchantsConduct thorough upfront qualification of merchant needs and technical infrastructure. • Act as the primary technical subject matter expert, supporting the Sales team through all pre-sales phases. • Design, prepare, and lead technical and commercial workshops for prospective merchants. • Provide critical technical and solution design inputs for high-value proposals and RFP/RFI responses. • Drive the improvement of solution design quality and documentation for complex solutions. • Significantly improve the quality and clarity of technical communication with merchants. • Expertly translate requirements into concrete, viable, and efficient solution designs. • Maintain deep industry expertise to design best-in-class, bespoke solutions. • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Ability to translate technical jargon into business speak • Previous exposure to RFI/RFP • Very well-versed in payments; should understand the technicalities inside and out (ideally this should be a bonus requirement not a needed one) • In depth payments industry exposure with an understanding of the related rules and regulations and payments schemes
