Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational, Health & Safety sciences or related discipline • 3 - 5 years’ experience in an Environmental, Health and Safety position • Knowledge of environmental reporting systems and regulations • Experience coordinating Health & Safety training and workplace safety programs • Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies, consultants, and third-party compliance providers • Promethean is honored to be an equal opportunity workplace. Responsibilities
• Manage global environmental compliance programs to ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations, including packaging, electronics, batteries recycling, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements • Monitor changes in environmental legislation and coordinate implementation of new compliance requirements across the business • Coordinate environmental reporting, registrations, declarations, and regulatory submissions with external compliance providers and regulatory agencies • Support sustainability initiatives through waste reduction, recycling, and environmentally responsible business practices • Maintain environmental compliance records, certifications, and supporting documentation. • Coordinate company Safety programs, including employee training, workplace inspections, and safety awareness initiatives as needed • Conduct workplace incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective actions to promote a safe working environment • Process and coordinate Quality & Environmental Health & Safety purchase orders and invoices with the Finance team • Coordinate and track Quality Stock Action Requests (SAR) and Requests for Concession (RFC) with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution • Promote continuous improvement in environmental compliance and workplace safety while performing other related duties as assigned
