Remote Director EMEA Payments Head of Partnerships B2C Stripe Adyen Checkout.com Braintree

Responsibilities

• Review the current payment setup and Acceptance Rate performance, identify key issues and early quick wins • Build and scale multi-PSP infrastructure: routing, orchestration, cascading, and onboarding of new providers • Own payment strategy metrics, including success rate, renewal rate, and recovery rate, and billing logic such as retry, dunning, and renewal flows • Manage processing costs and PSP negotiations, owning payment margin as part of unit economics • Monitor risk metrics, including chargeback rate and fraud, while scaling transaction volume • Lead and grow the payments team. • Qualification criteria: • 3+ years of core payments experience (adjacent experience is a plus, not a substitute) • Experience in subscription businesses - B2C, mobile/web subscriptions • Experience working with Tier-1 PSPs: Stripe, Adyen, Braintree, Checkout.com http://Checkout.com • Experience with multi-PSP orchestration, routing, and cascading • Experience with US and European markets • Relevant experience at a scale of 3-5M+ transactions per month • English level: Upper-Intermediate (B2+) • Management experience is a plus but not required - strong Senior-level candidates ready to grow into a lead/head role are welcome.
