Requirements
• 4+ years of experience in a Product Owner or Product Management role (equivalent experience considered) • Strong experience leading agile teams and delivery processes • Advanced proficiency with delivery tools such as Jira, Shortcut, Azure DevOps, or similar • Proven ability to manage stakeholders across multiple teams • Strong decision-making and prioritization skills, with deep analytical and problem-solving capabilities • Solid understanding of system architecture, dependencies, and technical concepts • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, post-merger environment where systems, priorities, and structures are still evolving • Experience in healthcare IT and understanding of the healthcare value chain (strongly preferred) • Experience working with AI tools or AI-powered products, and familiarity with applying AI to improve workflows or product outcomes • Familiarity with prescribing, pharmacy, eligibility, or medication-access workflows • Certification such as CSPO, PSPO, or SAFe • Core Competencies • Knowledge & Application • Demonstrates complete knowledge of product-ownership principles, agile delivery, and backlog management within their domain. Assesses non-routine delivery situations and applies analytical problem-solving to identify root causes and prioritization tradeoffs, resolving a range of issues independently. A fully qualified, experienced contributor. • Complexity & Problem Solving • Works on problems of diverse scope where backlog prioritization, dependency management, and delivery decisions require evaluating multiple competing factors. Devises solutions from limited information and adapts existing approaches; work is largely self-directed and reviewed at critical delivery milestones. • Collaboration & Interaction • Builds relationships with senior partners across engineering, QA, compliance, and customer success who may not know product-delivery specifics — often requiring persuasion. Adapts communication for technical and non-technical audiences and advises stakeholders on delivery tradeoffs.
Responsibilities
• Own backlog strategy and prioritization, aligning work with company goals and product vision • Collaborate closely with Product Managers to define and drive roadmap execution • Lead weekly planning, capacity management, and delivery forecasting • Proactively identify and manage technical dependencies, risks, and bottlenecks • Write and refine complex user stories with clear business and technical context, and lead acceptance testing to enforce quality standards • Drive release planning, timelines, and cross-team coordination • Facilitate agile ceremonies (standups, grooming, planning, retrospectives) and partner deeply with engineering to ensure efficient, high-quality delivery • Act as a key stakeholder interface — managing cross-functional communication and expectations — and analyze delivery metrics to continuously improve team processes • Leverage AI tools to accelerate delivery, inform product decisions, and identify opportunities to embed AI into product features and workflows
